Check what each rental section adds
This Hertz receipt template is an estimate layout. Rental rows multiply quantity by rate, while other sections have their own rules. An Included product adds zero; a Flat Amount applies once. Enter the renter, vehicle and rental schedule first, then review the charges against that schedule.
How charges reach the estimate

| Rental rows | Quantity multiplied by rate sets each rental charge. |
| Additional products | Rate and duration set the charge; Flat Amount applies once and Included contributes zero. |
| Fuel | An accepted Fuel Purchase Option adds its prepaid cost. Per-gallon and per-mile terms do not assume fuel usage. |
| Service charges | An accepted rate with duration is multiplied; otherwise the entered price and its charge-tax percentage are used. Included contributes zero. |
| Summary | The rental discount, taxable flags, overall tax and signed adjustments determine the estimate. |
Keep the estimate and authorization separate
- The authorization amount is an independent field. Changing the rental estimate does not prove that a card hold or payment changed.
- Check taxable flags and service-charge tax entries carefully; these settings control which amounts enter the overall tax calculation.
- Read the footer terms you enter before saving a PDF or PNG. The example does not supply the terms of a current Hertz rental.
