Keep the load and the journey separate
This PRESTO receipt template records money added to a transit card. It has fields for the card reference, load method, transit agency and balances before and after the load. Use the transaction details from your PRESTO record. A top-up record does not establish that you tapped for a particular journey.
Match the load to the right card

| Transit card | Enter the PRESTO card reference separately from any payment-card digits. |
| Load | Describe the top-up and enter its complete amount. |
| Transaction | Copy the load reference and date from your record. |
| Balances | Enter the previous and new balances independently. |
| Agency | Name the transit agency relevant to the record. |
Check both balance entries
- Changing a 50.00 load to 25.00 changes the receipt total, but it does not update Previous Balance or New Balance. Reconcile those fields yourself.
- For an original transaction record, use PRESTO account information. ReceiptEdit does not access the account or load funds onto a card.
