Keep the bond payment separate from the rent
The bond deposit template records the amount received alongside the weekly rent, lease commencement and term. These are separate entries: changing the weekly rent does not calculate a new bond amount. The property and tenant fields help connect the payment to the correct tenancy.
Complete the tenancy details

Reconcile the two amount entries
- The descriptive bond-amount field is independent of the calculated receipt total. Review both after editing.
- The editor does not lodge a bond or check its status. Keep the confirmation from the agent or bond authority with this payment record.
