Choose the section layout for a flexible parts list
This O’Reilly’s version groups the editor into collapsible sections. Part numbers can go in item descriptions, while store and transaction references fit in the two-column block. Use it when you want to arrange the receipt yourself; the related detailed version has dedicated Line Code and Part # fields instead.
What each section holds

| Header and date | Store text, logo, alignment and a date/time section |
| Item list | Part descriptions, quantities, unit amounts and total rows |
| Two-column information | Editable labels and values for store and transaction references |
| Payment | Cash or card details, entered separately from the item list |
| Messages and barcode | Purchase notes, footer text and a barcode value |
Keep the parts and charges clear
- Enter unit amounts in the item list; quantity multiplies each amount.
- Show a core charge on its own line when it is part of the transaction. Do not also include the charge in the part price.
- Check any dates repeated in a custom message or two-column row. Those text fields do not update with the date section.
- Review payment values after changing the items, then use the download menu for PDF or PNG.
